long time lurker here... bought my sc300 used 2 years ago and now my power steering pump is leaking... not sure if the pump's been replaced before...

is this a common problem? any sc300 owners have issues w/ power steering?

does this problem sound like a rebuild or just replacing some seals?

This question has been thoroghly covered numerous times in the past. If you do an advanced search in the SC 400/300 forum for "power steering pump leak" (or similar), I'm sure you will find all the answers you need.

 

same car as OP and same issue, mine is leaking from the shaft seal on the front of the pump i searched but only found how to replace the seal on a sc400. anyone have a link to the process and parts involved to replace the seals on the sc300 ps pump
