I ordered a timing kit off ebay about three years ago and am finally installing it. All components are OE manufacturers. The timing belt came in the Lexus vacuum sealed package with an aborption packet. The package was slightly yellowed, but the timing belt itself looks good. Think its allright to install? I know they age on cars to a max of 10yrs or so. even the one that has been on my car for 10 years and 108K only shows surface cracking under bright light. Attached is a pic including the numbers, I don't know it the age can be verified by the numbers.

Even if you bought one brand new today, its very likely that its been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse for years.

^^ besides the simple fact that a few years on the shelf is FAR less demanding than the environment that they're subjected to on the vehicle; heat cycles, tension, etc.
