Exclamation Big prob plz help!!!!

i have a 91 sc300 2jzge

i have a prob with my moter right now just replaced the headgasket got it all zeroed went to start her up and at first really strugled then it fired but ran really ruff as if a miss fire or more then one really bad so i turned it off looked around the moter couldent see anything tryed to start it agen and now it wont turn over like it sounds like it will try or hesitate to and then is just stops also the fumes from the muffler are extremal rich as if it just isint igniting any ideas of how to fix?

my best guess is the distributer is way off?
if this is true how do i fix it?
im open to all suggestions

Double check the belt and be sure it's at the correct timing, then reset the distributor. Sounds like the timing is horribly off.

1 tooth shouldn't effect it too badly, but good to double check. Did you pull the distributor completely when you changed the head gasket? Might be 180* off...

If the timing is correctly set I would check to see if you crossed some of the plug wires. Sometimes that would allow a motor to start and run; however, run really rough and may not start at all.

Maybe you forgot to plug something back in after the head gasket install.

Did you mark the plug wires to where they go on both the dizzy and on the motOr?

Have you double checked the grounding points? MAF sensor if it's buggered or not?

^^^ Saying that it seems that something was connected to a wrong plug of some sort. I'm in Korea at the moment and have been driving two cars, one with a push button switch for fog lamps and air suspension. Whenever I tried to push in the fog lamp switch it'd dim all the interior lamps and make a horrendous buzzing noise... the connectors for both the fogs and suspension were the same but switched around. I say maybe check for any incorrectly plugged connections? Were you doing any work to the car around the dash by any chance?
