Same tranny?

Interchangeable bearings?
Do the 5 speed SC300's have the same tranny as the 5 speed N/A Supra's? My clutch just went out and I was wondering if I could buy a Supra throw out bearing and put it in my SC.

Hehe, everyone's a comedian, what's up Brian? OK, Dorifuta, now that you've corrected, it's the same 5spd, but as far as the TO bearing, if it's the same anyway, why use one from a Supra? Do you already have a unit from a Supra lying around? I'm more of an automatic guy myself, but SC300TURBO, SC300T, and ComputerWiz can give you plenty of info on the 5spd.

Umm, I understand what you're saying...but I don't have a signature. And I can get a TO bearing from a Toyota dealer for cheaper than one made for the SC from a Lexus dealer.

You can use your zip code to plug in dealers in your area. Be advised to try several dealer's prices as there is a big range in pricing. Plug in a texas zip code for Jay Marks Toyota. Always been great price and great service. Other than that, I've tried Spartan Motor Mall in MI, and they suck, but have cheap prices.
