help...

well...sup everyone..im new here and im tihnking about getting a sc400 from a friend. its a 94 and has only 24,000 on it. well i just wanted to know if anyone could give me any sites that could help me fix up my car, most engine modifications, like exhaust, turbo's, intake, cams, etc....just started getting into lexus'

Welcome Aznb128! A '94 with 24k miles? That's a find! How much is he asking for it if you don't mind me asking? This forum is pretty much the definitive source for all your SC400 mods. Not too much aftermarket support for our cars other than intake, chip/ecu, torque convertor, and exhaust. You can get major engine work done by a local machine shop anyway (port & polish, bore & stroke). Don't know what kind of cams fit our ride though. I don't think anyone's tried messing with the cams yet.

Here is a website that has a plethera (sp?) of info on some upgrades for our car. Also, it has info on cams for the 1UZ. Acording to him, the cams aren't worth it for a stock car (he has them installed); and if memory serves me correct the cams were specifically designed for being used with the 5.0 stroker kit, so little gains could be seen on a stock vehicle.

The website is one of the best I've seen for tech info on our cars. The guys name is Peter, and is based out of Australia. Great guy.
