door lock not locking automatically when car starts
i have a 92 sc4. before when i got in the car and start it up, the door locks would lock it self. now it doesnt work. i can see it moving wanting to lock but it doesnt.
the switch and key will lock and unlock it.
any ideas why it would lock itself anymore? both pass/driver side wont lock on its own when i start the car.

Yeah, please someone chime in on this...my '95 doesn't do this either (At least I don't think it's suppose to)....BTW, Does you car have an aftermarket alarm on it?
I had a Honda Civic that did that...But that's because it had an aftermarket alarm on it.

Ya this is news to me as well. '99 sc4 here, never does that..
However, when I remotely unlock the car and don't actually open the door it locks itself after a minute or two, I guess in case I accidentally unlock it from my pocket or something.

My 97 wouldn't lock if the door was open and the key was in the ignition so I couldn't lock myself out with the car running.
My 93 automatically locks when I hit 25mph and if I try to unlock it while going 25mph+ it wouldn't let me. So I can't throw anyone out of my car lol. It used to be 25kph but since I converted my speedo to mph, it changed.
