I have a 2005 lexus is300. My power door locks will unlock all the doors but when you press the lock button it will not lock any of the doors. Any ideas why the unlock button works like it is suppose to and the lock button does nothing???

 

Start with basic troubleshooting, try replacing the battery in the remote.
If that doesnt' work let us know.

 

heres a thought, my driver door lock wont move by the key anymore, lock or unlock, so when i get out of the car and hit the lock button it wont lock all the doors so therefore i dont get a "im locked" beep, if i manually lock my driver door and then hit lock twice i get the beep, try hitting lock twice on the remote and then go around to all the doors and see which ones did not lock, if all of them do not lock and assuming its not your key remote battery....not sure in that case, hope this helps
