well i am almost 100% done with doing my full tune up on the 400 and trying to resolve this acceleration issue(cuts out under heavy acceleration)...i chnged the fuel filter today and its still there i read somewhere about a fuel pump ecu/module i searched but didnt have any luck...looking for any info on this thing and if its even in the 400 model...

 

fuel pump ECU is beneath the side cladding. On the LHS of the vehicle IIRC. You'll know if your ECU is going if it's hard to start the car when it's been warmed up.

 

well one thing is my car has no issues starting ever (knock on wood)

 

I'm from australia but i have one of these (fuel pump ECU) that i have sitting around, PM me and i'll do you up a good price posted to you!


also replace the Capactiors in your main ECU!

 

Search "12v mod". Its free to do, takes 15 minutes, and will more than likely solve the problem.

 

definitely gonna try the 12v mod...will update after....

 

oh and btw - the fuel pump ECU is BRAND NEW
