Default 17 inch wheels????

I have been looking at hundreds of wheels for my SC300. I have an opportunity to buy some brand new Axis Apex hyper blacks locally for only $275.00 (the lady bought them for her Mustang, and never took them out of the boxes).

My question is, what is the largest tire that I can run on these wheels? Can I put larger tires on the rear? Offset is +38. All four wheels are 18x8. I know these aren't optimal, but what a deal!

There are no tire shops open at this hour! If I don't buy the wheels, they will be long gone by business hours tomorrow!

Width of the wheels are all four 17x8.

I would run 245's all around that way you can rotate your tires; non-directional tires even better, that way you can swap from side to side instead of just front to back.

Run a staggered set-up down the road when you have different widths front to rear.

id run a 235 the biggest, 245s are a lil big for the wheel, you might get away with it because of the offset

225s would be perfect for the wheel

I would run 225's or 235's. It's possible to fit 245's though.

The longer you can wait the better the choices. Took me roughly 18 months before I found a set that I liked.

Waiting might be the best thing you can do. It took me over a year to truly know what wheels I wanted. I had IS350 wheels until I got the ones I wanted though.

245/45/17 is what I'd run. It will maintain the same overall diameter as stock and keep your speedo accurate.

Ehh, i also came across a great deal on some 17s, and i went for them. I really do want to step it up to 18s and 19s, but if the deal is really that good, and you find that you can get a good deal on tires, why not? Use them as winter wheels if your stocks have no tread (like my situation).
