Default "spare tire" rims

Yo guys, I think I may buy 3 more spare rims for the 400 and run them instead of the factory wheels. They are suuuper light compared to the stock 16's.

Has anyone done this? Are there any centercaps for these? Does anyone know if they are strong enough for daily use?

They are SPARE tires. What is the purpose of running them anyways?

Well obviously I wouldn't run the spare tires SC300JZ...just the rims with normal tires. They are the same dimensions as the normal wheels.

Pick up your spare and then pick up the stock 16 with a tire. Easily 10+ pounds difference. Spending money on cool wheels is something I did when I was a kid. There are real expenses in my life now plus I'm not going to spend half the value of an almost 20 year old car in rims Cheap way to reduce 40 pounds of unsprung weight? That's huge. Plus I kinda think they look cool. I'll post a pic when I get it set.

My spare tire rim was identical to the other four factory alloy rims already on the car.

The SC spare rims are just steelies, if you rock all 4 your car will look like a honda. If you're gonna do that at least take those steelies and get them widened! :P

It's not smart to jack the car up on grass.

not seen is the 4'x4'x1/2" plywood
definitely going back to stock wheels as soon as I can pull the funds together to change the tires.

I see that you got it running? How does it drive?

This might sound stupid, but why is that? I personally wouldn't do it, but then again, it's something I've never thought about doing.

My spare is heavier than my stocks! Steel vs alloy, are you sure your spares are lighter?!
