"spare tire" rims
Yo guys, I think I may buy 3 more spare rims for the 400 and run them instead of the factory wheels. They are suuuper light compared to the stock 16's.
Has anyone done this? Are there any centercaps for these? Does anyone know if they are strong enough for daily use?

Well obviously I wouldn't run the spare tires SC300JZ...just the rims with normal tires. They are the same dimensions as the normal wheels.
Pick up your spare and then pick up the stock 16 with a tire. Easily 10+ pounds difference. Spending money on cool wheels is something I did when I was a kid. There are real expenses in my life now plus I'm not going to spend half the value of an almost 20 year old car in rims
Cheap way to reduce 40 pounds of unsprung weight? That's huge. Plus I kinda think they look cool. I'll post a pic when I get it set.

Nothing wrong with looking like a Honda or a Cavalier/Sunfire/"Random ugly car with 4 spare tires)....

I see that you got it running? How does it drive?
This might sound stupid, but why is that? I personally wouldn't do it, but then again, it's something I've never thought about doing.
