Exclamation Key will not come out!

So here is the story of my car, the parking pin in the car a few months back, no big deal i put it in neutral and pull the E brake. The heater stopped working and im a big guy so i cant really reach the fuses so i took it to a shop and they got the heater working. I came home and turned the car off and noticed it stopped in acc and wouldnt come out, i unhooked the battery and got the key out so the car wouldnt get stolen so this is were im at with no clue what to do. please help!

this is very confusing.. so.. you got the key out? or is it still stuck?

pull up on the shifter. you may have to pull down the lower plastic cover and unscrew the 2 screws holding the shifter on.

this happened to my car :P i dealt with for a good two weeks. Took it to a mechanic finally. What happened is that some sort of solenoid is stuck now. Apparently, the shifter recognizes it's in park but the ignition doesn't. So i just got him to bypass that solenoid altogether. I just have to make sure they car isn't in gear when i start it up (if it's outside of park) i've heard it's supposed to normal with some automatic transmissions. -_-

I droped sum goose in shifter area on gs300 my car did the samething removed the ign fuse for a while .put it bac neva had the problem again

I had the same issue as well with my 92.....only way key would come out is if I disconnected the battery. Took it to a shop as well and I think it was same issue as you mentioned with the solenoid....GL!!!
