You must have forgotten about the ENORMOUS white clouds that pour out the back of the exhaust. Seafoam rocks. I used it on my 180k miles SC300 and it made a huge difference. Drove the hell out of that car until 205k miles and never had a single issue. Did the same thing to my 52k mile SC300 and it now has 75k miles and NO PROBLEMS!

like the other poster said...it'll get burned out of the exhaust. otherwise it goes into your oil and i assume you change your oil every so often...right?

Kinda like u stated, you always want to do an oil change after using sea foam.

Cracked vacuum hose caused my Soarer to do all sorts of weird things at idle, might want to check that.

Idle Air Control Valve is know on these cars to malfunction after oil and gunk buildup causing erratic idling, there's tons of information regarding dis-assembly and cleaning procedures.

Just to add, I seafoamed my SC400 about 6,000km ago in the summer and it has idles noticeably better since, seems to run slightly smoother but that could just be me.
A rebuild huh, never knew you could rebuild them. i did remove the hose and happen to see some power steering fluid in the one that goes to the intake, what causes that?

Jut noticed that the hose that comes from the brake booster to the intake has cracks too. Looks like your right its sucking in extra air from all over the place. Guess i'll just change them all out. Can i replace them with a better grade like silicone? Or should I just go OEM?

Depends on your budget. I say whichever is cheaper. JMO. Seafoam is the bomb!

There is a thread here about this. Apparently it's the vacuum switch on the power steering rack that's failing and allows fluid into the vacuum line. If I'm not mistaken, the thread was made by "O. L. T. ". Try searching for it; it's definitely something you'll want to fix.

Oh no, I knew something was wrong. I went outside and checked the vac line that comes from the intake to the side of power steering pump and your right, I can see and even drip a little fluid out onto my finger, Is this the reason why i would sometimes see white smoke at start up? Just so you know i do not have the white smoke at start up since I've Sea Foamed and oil changed the car, just the higher idle now . How soon should i fix this? Should i even be driving the car? I'm a little freaked out by this now!

an experienced engine builder once told me that its harmful for engine, all the internal build up is conceited in one spot that shouldn't affect the engines ability to function, when the crap gets burned it goes down through youre piston rings,

i am NOT making this ***** up, i am no mech but some one with high experience in this field should vouch this theory

if its too good to be true its probably is

but once again id love to be proven wrong and if facts are presented ill go use one in my own car

ok so let me add a little color...
does seafoam help? sure.
does it really clean that much? nope (not the amount that you think).
whats that white smoke? thats the seafoam burning out.

seafoam looks to be (more or less) refined kerosene. it's a light light oil. it'll burn when ignited. it will not chip away years of old carbon...at least not enough to clog anything. it will clean away a little of the deposit that's in the intake and combustion chamber but not the amount you think it does. remember you're not pulling in a large amount of it. the instructions is telling you to pull in the seafoam slowly not just pour it in. it'll clean up the oily residue but not the caked on carbon. just my .02.
