Default Drift Motion Power Steering Line - Question

So I bought the drift motion SS Braided power steering line. I want to install it but have a question. Here is what the drift motion replacement line looks like:

Looks great. But the stock line seems to have 2 vacuum lines that come out of it. It seems like this new line doesn't have any provisions for the vacuum lines? So I guess I don't get it, what's the right way to do this? Here's a pic of the line/banjo bolt, and you can see the vacuum lines kind of, that come from it.

I don't get it, how does this work?

take out the bango bolts and screw the fitting into the hole. 1 hole on the pump and 1 hole on the steering rack.

plug the vac lines up.

So basically just ditch the vac lines. What are they even for, and what side-effects will I notice by not having those anymore?

The vacuum lines are for idling purposes when you are turning the wheel at a standstill.
I just put the same DM line on mine and have not noticed any idling difference. It already has some idling issues, lol. I have a 98 SC300 and the power steering line also has another sensor attached down at the rack that had to be removed.

I have however noticed that my pump whines a lot now and it didn't before. It's been almost 2000 miles since I put it on there and it has subsided a little but it's still there.

So, I took my stock high pressure line to a hose shop and had it repaired and am about to go put it back on, along with a new pump.

New hose FTW!
