No, they are both 3 wire plugs, just the 92-94 are round and on the back of the alternator and the 95-00 are square plugs on the top of the alternator

Make sure the amperage and the voltage of the alternator is the same.
There is a sticker on the alt. to tell you the amps and volts, you can also rebuild it with a kit istead of buying the new one.

i would buy a new one from o'reilly's with a lifetime warranty.. and an alt can be changed in like 20 mins.. i did mine in 20 mins and i never done it before ..
