If you have any kind of mechanical knowledge, a window regulator isnt terribly hard to install. Try to find one from a part out and do it yourself.

Check to see if your window regulator can be moved up and down with your hard easily if so thats the problem. Not to difficult to install at all just takes patience lining everything up.

you should just take the door panel out and inspect it. Ive seen some cars were the tabs on the glass broke. pull it out and see why it fell
