Default Intake for SC

I want to get an intake for my 1996 SC300, but am not sure as to what is the best to get, or from where, for that matter. None of my clsoef riends have the exact car I do, and they seemed kinda unsure. Any suggestions would be great.

I don't have the link, bnut there is a guy in the UK who has done externsive testing on intakes and even produced his own home made air intake which produced ( I think) almost 17 HP..

Anyone have the link?

It was Australia- not the UK.
And the improvement was measured using a U-tube manometer and a stopwatch on road.
The hp figure was a roughy based on formula's from terminal speed difference - not accurate.
Any intake can be measured with a $3 U-tube manometer and 10 mins of driving - a wide open measurement and a closed throttle measurement.
Air filtration is best measured long term with an oil analysis specifically looking at the silicates.
The page is Soarer DieHard and the link is

The intake is not very flashy.

even still, pretty amazing for a guy to just make an intake himself, at least in my opinion...but since i don't know a thing about making them, maybe it's not that impressive..

Hey dpakman91 if you are looking for that Injen Intake, you can get it for $202 at www.optionsauto.com.....though, I keep thinking I saw it for $189 somewhere recently....? Good luck.

Here's my Apexi with a custom-made adapter. It's supposed to be one of the best filters, but honestly, I didn't notice too much
