Default Greetings and Salutations

I come to you all from the Evo community. Im a 29 yr old professional mechanic so I will be modding this as time goes on. The evo community is... well... full of snobs. i say that with a bit of shame for them, mostly due to the fact when I told most of my "friends" about buying an SC they laughed and said they were lame. I had an Evo, and even in stock trim I like the SC better than the Evo.

I am picking mine up from the owner today after it being detailed and what not. I already like this forum and the info it contains.

Yeah, I love both cars, and both can be amazing in their own right but I don't think they are comparable.

Enjoy the smooth, subtle luxury qualities of your SC and you'll never look back!

I hope you don't miss the EVO's handling, cuz no matter what you do to the SC it will never handle like that.

Why did you get rid of it?

I havent had it for several years. that car was bad luck for me. I got it up to 430 awhp and drove the **** out of it and I kept getting hit in it... minding my own business. it was nearly totalled the first time i got sideswiped and then i got rear ended at a stop light. I let them total it the second time and never looked back. Ive been into Vw's for a long time too so I had several MkII Gti's and its not even the same comparison. Ive always wanted an SC and I know the potential they have. Im about to leave to go get it now. Im pretty stoked. I got it for 4k and it only has 129k on it. Leather is clean and body is really straight except for one little dent in the driver side rear.

Well that was just an ignorant thing to say!

Our car's have a gas tank over the rear suspension, with the right mods these cars will handle like a beast. The suspension setup is great from the factory, it's just made for luxury. I can already keep up with most of my friends that have full coil overs, etc and all I have are a set of dinky Megan racing coil overs and some upgraded bushings. I can't wait to finish the rest up in the next month.
