Default automatic starting in 3rd-4th gear?

i've got an automatic 92 sc300 with 200k miles. from the time i bought it, my car has been starting in 3rd or 4th gear i cant really tell.
i brought the car to a tranny expert to have him take a look and he hasnt called me back or answer my calls?

for the past eight months i've been putting it in low to get any decent acceleration then shifting it up to second then drive.

has anyone had similar problems? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is to replace them.

If its at the transmission shop already have them test em, if you want when I get home I can post up the fsm pages on how to test em
