Default gated shifter conversion...done

Finally decided to do this, and here is the finish look.

Just want to say thanks to the forum and the input/information from all previous gated shifter threads. Without them I would never finish this mod...

Way too legit, did you pull the other pieces of wood trim to match the shifter? The lighting is throwing off the color on them...I'm liking the steering wheel as well. I wish I had time to do mods like this, it enhancing the car quite a bit.

Thanks. The shifter package including wood trim and ashtray were purchased from aliga sometime ago, and the shift **** came from my old Mercedes. The wood colors almost matched.

Steering wheel came from a GS4, purchased from a fellow CL member. Its gray while my interior is spruce.

Looking great! Reminds me I still have to find time to put my own gated shifter in...I've had it for months now. Thanks for the push.

Looks nice but I guess you want something when you don't have it. For example I had 99 SC3 and had all those goodies such as perforated leather, 3 spoke steering wheel, gated shifter etc. Now I have 97 SC4 and I don't miss any of that stuff; I'm perfectly fine with this simple shifter design as well. I guess it's because I already had it and I don't care about it anymore...

DAMN RIGHT! I just finished the linkage process, haven't tended to the wiring yet. I just posted a pic but here it is again...

There should be more polish or chrome around the shifter trim
