Anyone blacked out their chrome window trims?

i used the 3m black out tape, came out well im very happy with it. less chrome looks good on this car

Mines black out as well. It was painted when my car got painted together. Chrome lining outdates the car more. Much cleaner now.

My SC has a more VIP style vs sport look about it so I leave the window trim chrome.
I guess it all comes down to personal style. I'm a few months away from wrapping this
whole vehicle as I'm making it a promotional car for my business.

Vinyl is a little better than normal everyday tape. I've had this on my car now for over a year and I've never had a problem with it whatsoever. It's definitely not coming off anytime soon unless I try and yank it off the car but as long as I own this car it's staying on there....haha

2.5tsoarer did it for free for me since I've known him for awhile now Honestly though it would not cost you very much if you went to your local vinyl graphics store. I think it makes the windows look alot more sleek.

i remove my matte black wrap..leaving the wrap on the chrome trim.

I got the blackout tape too, over a year now, it looks just as good when i bought it,no peeling.
