Default Adding heated seats

So I bought a set of black seats to complete my black interior, however, my car didn't come with heated seats, it came with everything but that.

My question is, how do I install heated seats? Do I need to do any crazy wiring? Is there a harness from the factory that's ready to be plugged in to the heated seat control underneath the shifter?

I did search and I came up with this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...eat-relay.html

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Nono, I'm not adding heated seat option to my current seats, I bought a pair of black sc300 seats with heated seat option, I just need to know if there is a harness for the heated seat switch already, and if i need to do anything to make it work

I've heard that everything is basically wired up from the factory, there just isn't a button to turn them on. I'm not sure if this is true since I also do not have heated seats, but that is what I heard about adding heated seats. I guess you would wire up the buttons from another SC. Hopefully somebody can add some insight on this.

Yeah, me too! I want a gated shifter at some point unless I do transmission swap.

My best guess would be get the button bracket to turn it on -> harness that connects to the seat. Worse comes to worse you might have to get that whole harness from Pick n pull or something. I'll keep an eye out for the harness part if I come across it for you. I've been thinking about doing it to my 1992.

Thanks man! Hopefully I don't need another harness, I'm GUESSING the harness is there just needs to be plugged in... I mean, our cars even has intercooler holes cutout when we have no turbo..

Its an option. I got mine in Phoenix. Makes sence that hot places dont really need heated seats. Would be nice now tho with winter coming..
