Default Help me Finish my project

So basically my summer project was to rebuild a sc300 that I found. Wanted to get everything finished before posting anything but ive run into some problems and some input would be greatly appreciated.
Alright first, I had to pull the motor and replaced it with one from an n/a supra. Ended up using the supra's ecu so its starting now BUT the car is throwing out white smoke and idles weird. By idling weird i mean that when starting the car revs way high then drop real low and dies if u dont give her a lil bit of gas. Also, if i press the gas pedal down there is a little bit of lag before the the car revs.
Any input would be great

thanks
Brian

What does the smoke smell like? Can you smell fuel? Your problem sounds very similar to either a bad ecu or ignition stuff gone out such as ignition coils, plugs, wires, or cap/rotor.

Maybe water in the spark plug area? Your sure your ecu is good. Check for all the little things. Then move to the head ( teehee )

white smoke usually mean to change out the head gasket, if its not idleing correctly then it can be vacuum leak some where or even the mass air flow sensor going bad or not plugged in
