LOL funny thing this thread came back from the dead.

Let me inform you on what i DID do

i peiced together a turbo kit, took it to be installed, had to repiece it together because some of the parts didnt fit right, then i had to rebuilt some of the parts because they were used and blew up, then i had to spend hours and loads of money on tuning, and now i have to buy a new short block because my old one got a bad case of crankwalk....

SO if i had a chance to do it again, I WOULDNT.

Thats where i am at now... wish me luck.

Kevin

I dont know why so many people voted for a turbo kit. 450 at the wheels would most likely "own" any automatic tranny we got in our SC's. $2500 is definately not enough for your turbo troubles. I chose the rims and suspension(lowering, handling) cause it really helps you out, and sets you apart from the cars out there.

gixxxer1000, the rims and camber kit will run you that 3grand already. Then you have the tein CS coilovers for another 1200 if you're lucky. then you gotta buy tires, good luck!

sorry, i should have been more clear. 3k is what i paid for all that stuff, only thing that wasnt new were the blitz 03's and they came with 2 front tires. and imo, its the best 3k spent on the car.

I'm at that point right now. I have the rims sitting up (19's) and I still need to do my control arm bushings and get my coilovers installed and then I'm "hoping" it looks pretty good, which obviously makes you feel good. I've heard a few people say that rims and a nice drop make a world of difference on the car, do you feel it's realy that dramatic of a change?
