Default swapping gearing

Does anyone know if I can swap the ring gear from the stock GS (3.23) with the ring gear on the supra auto TT (3.76) I want to maintain the LSD but would like to try changing the gearing.

thanks in advance

To swap out the ring gear from the Torsen LSD, you'll have to swap the pinion gear at the same time. There're a lot of shimming/alignment work to do this swap and you really need to have a good machine shop and experienced people to do this.

JacobT: thanks for the reply, I thought about it and was really hoping it would be a straight swap of the Torsen LSD. I have a stock differential that I was gonna use to swap out the parts, but if I have to do a lot of shimming etc, then I might as well get the TRD LSD.

Richie: I just wanted to get the 3.23 gearing back. I love the 3.76 but gas mileage is beginning to be kinda low since I also have the PI TC. I also have the upgraded valve body. I don't plan on racing the car a lot. I will probably change it for now to the 3.23. During the summer when I will probably start racing I will put back the 3.76 gearing.
