Default Pretty...

Thanks, Hermosa! I just got my reflective coated headers from Hermosa who ordered them from Australia and hung out with him for a while.

mmmm... sweet lookin... Let's see a dyno soon hu? You've gotta be pushing past ~340 HP @ the crank, right?

Exaust, Weapon R intake, ECU... 235 RWHP from that... headers should add a few (not a whole lot tho... the stock extractors are pretty good)

I digress.... Nice looking headers.

Ahahaha! You've got head!

Ok... Ok... Bad joke.

I'm going to bed.

Well, Leo from WR looked at the manifold and thought it was pretty restrictive. I've never looked inside the stock manifold but I trust what he says about it...

They look great! Let us know how the install goes. All these parts to improve my car are decreasing my wallet.

Mad MAx - Let us know how they install. I'm looking at getting a set in the fall and would like to hear your opinion on them.

BTW, the factory manifold is pretty good to begin with, so I'm interested to see what kind of gains you get. Personally, I just like the sound of a good set of headers. Any Hp increase is just a plus for me!

Let us know-
Keith

Default Wut about SMOG??

I was told by my exhaust guy that if I replace the headers I will fail smog.

So I'm curious how you're doing this w/this restriction?

Also Max...did you contact my friend Joe....??

Installing racing flow-thru headers that do NOT have a cali smog id number will make your car fail the VISUAL inspection. Now, I had headers on 3 of the past 4 cars I owned and they NEVER even asked for a smog ID #. They just assumed that because the car passed the tailpipe test and it wasn't obnoxiously loud, that it was legal for the most part.

They have been tested before and provide 16rwhp. With Madmaxsc400s mods this should be even hgher.

The factory manifold was a problem according to Leo from Weapon-R when he tuned a 4.7 Liter stroked SC400. The engine just could not breathe well enough going out of the stock exhaust manifold.

I just got my car smogged, so it's not a problem for another 2 years. Besides, they're so buried in there most places won't even know what they're looking at.
