what should i go with....this

just make another air duct from near the corner lights and change out the air filter to the ones they use in the toyota 4runner..i hear its supposed to double the air

Use $30 to finish up your BFI and make it solid, then get some Taco bell with the other $13

You've already gone through the trouble of cutting up the air box, why not go all the way and finish it?

sickkkk...sounds good lol....i still am not sure what i was doin...i just didnt feel like payin 100 bux for the sc bfi kits..that r just plastic....scdemon..do u have a link for the filter...and when we meet up on fri at d&b...show me what to do...ill take notes haha

All have valid points. I would make it out of abs plastic or use aluminum as i did. The bfi has proven to increase throttle response and a little on the gas mpg increase.

Yea the foil has to go man, looks like you hiding a 6pack in that cooler
I have kn filter drop in type and looking to do bfi as well, but out of plastic or composite, there is a post flying around here, where someone drilled 3 holes and installed a 3 baffle like couplers looked very clean!

The first link I only see good with 1uz swaps, which is what I bought for my MK3 1uz... but just use stock airbox for the SC...

Would replacing the air box with one of those cold air intake type cone filters be just as good as the BFI?
