So it sounds like your timing is all off right now as i had the same problem when i changed my distro o ring, what i did was remove the number one spark plug and stuck a long flat head screw driver down into the chamber so it rested on the top of the cylinder and proceeded to rotated the crank pulley until the screw driver was at its highest point (top dead center), right after you find tdc you can align the distro and the rotor inside the cap so its facing towards where the number one spark plug wire is on the cap, once all that is said and done you can reinstall the plug and wire as well as the distro cap and crank her up, should start the first time but youll still need to time the engine with a timing light, hope that helps and hope you could understand what i was trying to describe, GLWP

did you take the rotor button off as well or just the dizzy?

if you just took the distributor off i'd have someone move it around by hand a little while you try cranking it..

dont put a screw driver down your sparkplug hole use a mcdonalds straw, i believe alldata mentions that you can find TDC by looking through the oil filler cap and crank till the camshaft is pointing upward.

glad you got her running, but if you need a damper get the ati crank damper for the supra (http://www.atiracing.com/products/da.../damtoyota.htm), thats what i went with and its essentially a titan damper without the titan sticker, youll need a new shorter acc belt but well worth the money imo
