i have a 92 sc4 and it has a bad problem with the brakes. I purchased the car this way and this is what it does...When you press brakes they are extremely hard then all of a sudden they are super sensitive. I know its the booster be are there any interchangeable boosters i can use my car is also equipped with trac which makes the ones i found 6-900 bucks. If anyone can point me in the right direction i would thank you greatly
i also have a sc400 i think booster for a non trac car will this work on mine?? or can i just delete the trac and abs and put the non trac booster and master cylinder on and the car will be a completly non trac/abs car
Yea, you want to rule out all the simple things before dropping a bunch of money on parts you don't need. Bleeding the brakes is a good start; like kanukem said, bleed the brakes starting with the corner furthest away.
I tried testing the booster and with the car off i pump brakes until hard and hold foot on brake and start engine and it doesnt change thats why i assumed it was the booster. Any way to confirm it
