Default Brake shuddering please help

I just bought a sc400 I am new to this forum. I'm not a mechanic but I have a very good general knowledge in cars. Today I had to slammed on my brakes because someone pulled right out in front of me.. The ABS came on etc. my problem now is that when I take my foot off the brake pedal it will shudder, it sort of feels like the brakes are still half clamped on. Does anyone have any suggestion that I can check myself or any advice would be helpful thankyou.

I'm no mechanic but if not a deeper ABS issue, I'd check for sticking calipers.
Good luck!

Sounds like it could even be a severely warped rotor?

Yeah, very likely warped rotors. Take them off and see if Autozone/Oriellys will surface them, if not get a new set.

I've felt warped rotors before, this doesn't feel like that, and the rotors are fairly recent. About 4k miles, and if I remember correctly you can't surface drilled/slotted rotors right? And my tire ate through my abs sensor wire on that same side and my problem dissapeared. When I resoldered the wires back together the problem came back. Could there be a fault in the abs somewhere?
