Okay i have been having this Boost cut/Fuel cut issue since i have done my 1J swap in my 94 SC300, all i have done to my car so far is jus a FMIC,3"DP,Full 3"Exhaust, and a intake, Soarer m/t ecu...im getting around 14-15 Psi and then i hit boost cut..
I kno they never made Greddy BCC's for the MKIV & on the 1J & 2J motors we use the BCC that is for the MR2 which is (SW20)...
Basically i jus wanna kno if i have the right items for my 1J...
Here are pics
Greddy BCC
As far as the SCC idk which one is for the 1J & 2J motors but this is what i have...
Greddy SCC
Plz lmk if this is the right stuff & if they will work on the 1J & 2J
Thanks, Nate

Where exactly would you wire in the boost cut? I believe that is the same scc that i have in my 1j swap. Have you gotten your car past 120mph yet? If so then u may not need it.

I think u wire everything to the ecu, and naw I'm not sure, I haven't takin my car past 100mph yet since the swap because of the damn boost cut , smfh!!!
yeah i was afraid of that. I did get my scc in there but never did the boost cut, its hell getting to that damn ecu! You should be able to get your car past 100mph unless you are hitting the limiter which i believe if u have a jdm 1jz is at 120 kilometers/hr. Your boost cut should not affect your top speed.

Yea, i understand what you are saying, but i took my car on the highway to jus get a feel of how fast i could go and when im WOT my boost starts at 13psi then as i stay in it, it climbs to 14psi then 15psi, then nex thing u kno that car starts to break up and i see my boost gauge drop then starts climbin again...so after that i let off cuz i dont wanna hurt the motor or my twins
I hear you, do u have a boost gauge and boost controller. if not your stock boost should be around 9psi. and should not have turbo creeep or u may have another issue on ur hand. Right now i have mine at 10psi to not kill these fragile little turbos! I need an extra set if u know where to find some cheap?
BCC is right SW20. You also need to make sure the Voltage is right there is a screw inside the casing. I dont know what the voltage is for a 1jz, but for the 2jzgte its 4.3v
Your SCC I have no idea.
Boost gauge and A/F Ratio gauge are important! Dont cheapout! =P goodluck!~

LoL, im not cheaping out..lol i kno boost is a wallet killer!!!
I have a prosport electronic boost gauge n my car thats how i kno im hittin boost cut, right around 14psi
crap I was looking to see if you had the diagram for the speed cut. and btw stock jz turbo motors do overboost alone with intake and downpipes installed so thats definitely normal. I used the hks fuel cut defencer when I did it, and the voltage clamp is the same for a 1jz at 4.3v.
