Check the rubber seals on your door and the strip on the outside of the glass.

Default passenger door leaking water into the interior

The carpet under the speaker is soaking wet and the floor on the drivers side is awash. The carpet on the door does not come into contact with the in terior anywhere so it can't be "wicking" the water up. The door has a internal leak....window or mirror. It SHOULT not be water proof. ome water must get into the door....by design. There are drains in the bottom edge of the door so Lex knew that. Inside the door there must be a disturbed wire harness or somthing that is diverting the water that trickles down the inside of the door. I will open my door today and check.

Anybody have more info?

Thanks,

John

Default passenger side door leak

My speaker is the culpret. Water is getting inside the door from tyhe exterior window wipe rubber seal. It drips down on the speaker and then gets wicked to the inside surface of the door and then to the door panel and from there it drips on the carpet on the inside of the door frame. LOTS of watere over night.

The only fix I can see is to replace the rubber window wipe with a new one that is still rubberrrry. Any bette Ideas?

Thanks,

John

I had the same problem. Found out my rear wind shield seal was leaking water around the speakers and down behind the upper rear seat. It collected under the seat bottom. I removed the rear speaker cover and sealed the glass with a good quality sealant. No more leaks.
