thats also a good idea.either way, i wouldnt want it open like that so close to wires. a friend of mine has a honda with a open wastegate and it shoots a 3ft flame out of it when he 2-steps (idk if you know what that is, but it essentially changes your redline when your stopped so you can launch with the least amount of tirespin possible)

I thought the waste gate dump tube supposed to be re routed to the downpipe or the rest of the exhaust.
Its going to be loud too

Its going to be loud too
it doesnt have to be re-routed, can be left open/dumped. but its a dead giveaway that your car is boosted.

true, but from the pictures it doesnt look like the dump is pointing down, it looks like its angled toward some harness wires. i could be wrong though. even so, id get a pipe on that.

i just ordered a screamer pipe i have a really bad problem the hot side of my turbo is melting my main wireharness running on the side of my block and now my car is misfiring like crazy

alright well your going to want to take that plastic off those wires and see if you can resolder them back together. then heat shrink them, then see if you can move those wires AWAY from the manifold. those are wayyy to close and are melting like you said. you might be able to get some kind of metal or something to make some sort of heat shield.

ok tomorrow will be a long day i will be taking the whole kit off and rerouting everything thanks i ordered a turbo blanket will that help some thanks for everyones help

yeah the turbo blanket should do the trick. just keep an eye on those wires

the vvti bottom ends are terrible they are soo weak, if i were you i would take the motor out and give it a do over. id suggest a 2jzGTE bottom end.

ok i have another problem the wastegate is not working i removed the aem a/fi and now i have no boost i need help please

UPDATE!!!! after spending 4K on rebuilding the motor and another 1k on redoing the turbo kit my car is making 532whp on 19lbs of boost i will try and get pics up as soon as i get the car back next week!! thanks to all the guys for help!!!
