hey guys - first of all

I HAVE SEARCHED so don't kill me!! haha

basically - i just saw this car going up for auction in japan..



as you can see, the tails are 96-2000 ones, that's on a 95 car BTW... (also is that a T's project sides / rear combo?)

but as you can well see, his tails have a black tint on the lens ... clap clap... but you'll also notice he's left the reverse lights out - i think...

but what's MOST interesting is he's kept the chrome outline!!! looks very nice... i think?? haha

it looks good against the white paint at least... and it also looks "less" ricey becuase i he has put thought and work into it rather than "getting a rattle can and spraying the whole thing up"

so... point of this thread - can you guys post pics / finished products of what creative and interesting things you US guys have done with your tails? cos you guys do some pretty cool stuff!

Those are just stock 97-00 tails that are tinted. I don't see any modification. Btw, reverse lights are the inner white ones.

Those are 100% stock tail lights with a sheet of tint slapped on.

 

they dont look tinted at all. looks like the guy sprayed the inner red lenses a darker red. the orange signals are gone...

 

ssssssoooooooooo he still modified them...

i didn't ask you jagaloons to bag his tail lights!!!! :P

i said "has anyone got modified 97 tail lights and what do you guys do?"

i KNOW he's tinted them... but he hasn't spray-tinted over the top - he actually took the lens off.. so that's kinda cool...

but what do YOU guys do to yours?

 

Mine was stock. There isn't much you can do to them. Well maybe go LED.

 

For my 97 tails, I plan to eventually paint the reverse lights black and the rest a dark red. The only thing is that these will be a lot harder to paint than my 93's were when I got them painted.
