So it looks like i may be getting the 99sc3 with blown bags and missing bumper and a busted windsheild and pass headlight. My question is will me airbags from my 93sc4 fit into the 99sc3? Im pretty sure the headlights and wind shield will fit too. I searched and most people covered doing conversions and what not. Can anyone shed some light on this as to a yes, no or what wiring needs to be done?

 

unfortunetly i cant fully answer, how ever i do know there is a slight differance in Plugs in a certen year SC's steering wheel bag. i just dont know what year it started.

 

Are you looking at that blue one with the busted front end and bent rim?

The steering wheels on your car and the 99 are completely different, so that air bag won't work. They sell a conversion harness to use a 99 air bag on an older sc, but not the other way around. I have no idea about the passenger side air bag.

 

Yeah have you seen it in person? I am thinking about trading my gsxr for it. I am wanting a functioning car again and i still cant get my sc to start. So i was gonna use my parts from mine then sell my 93 for like 1100obo. It looks like it needs rims (i have my 18 staggered wheels), Headlight and high beam (i have my audi tt retro's) a front bumper (probably just pick up a kit). The driver airbag im not too worried about because i want the IS300 wheel so that eliminates that. The passenger airbag is what I am more concerned with fitting. That should make the car fully functional.

On a side not If i do get it I would probably sell the stock black leather seats as I have supra seats i was gonna have wrapped in BL leather. Throw on my suspension and breaks too.

 

no, I haven't. I was thinking about buying it to swap some stuff over to my white 98 SC (mainly the interior). Then just fix that car for my brother or something.

 

oh cool...He told me it was a salvage title. thats the only reason im a lil hesitant. He is making me a video of the car running and moving. If i end up not getting it ill send ya the video!
