Well after 6 months of hell, im still not done yet. I have the car running, and she runs like a champ. Already on a second set of used turbos, but right now im looking into another set of twins for a rebuild and revamp. The centerforce clutch i put in is junk and spins when i get onto boost, so im ditching that and putting in an ACT Xtreme pressure plate and street disc. Need a few more tidbits here and there, but it feels so good to drive it around after driving a crappy bronco II for the past few months. Anyways here are a few crappy pics after cleaning her up a bit today:

THAT'S going to be far down the line lol. Im already on my second set of turbos (first set, number two junked XD). Im starting to look around for rebuild kits for a CT12A but they were never offered in the US (the CT12 and CT12B were but not the CT12A). Im heading to a turbo shop tomorrow to see if any other CT parts will match. If they do then i have a winter project coming, if not then i'll need to explore more options. Something about having twins is appealing so i'd like to stick with them or something equivalent.

yea i can't wait. I should've gotten this from day one, the centerforce one i got just doesn't like boost for some reason. A few people had them on their 1Js without probs. IDK if it's the fidanza flywheel, bad install, or something else. Only way to find out is to get it out.

 

Bro, feels so good to b boosted right...i jus got done wit my swap and man at 11psi this 1J screams...lol i havent even had it on the road for 12hrs yet and i already raced and chrysler 300c and walked him!!! LoL wit his girl in the passenger..lol
