Sure you could. Anyone who has plans to go boost generally wants a 300 and not a 400...

Yeah but.. what about everything you've already done to your SC3? You'd be starting from ground zero again.

I've been trying to straight trade my '99 sc4 for a '97 sc3 5spd for a while. Now I'm considering trading for an auto with some cash on top. Would HAVE to have a black interior though.
Kinda sucks your so far..

Why trade for the 400? It will be just as slow as your stock 300.

The grunt of the V8 is very nice. It sounds ten times better than an SC3 and it is much easier to drive. You think Lexus just put a V8 in it for their health? You can paper race that "it's only got this much more HP" B.S. all you want, anyone that has driven the 400 knows it's low end torque makes it a completely different drive around town. Stock bottom end AZZ without 2 grand in mods to make it move from lane to lane without having to FLOOR IT to do so.

Mileage and a clean MAF makes a lot of difference! Before I hit 200k my SC4 was a lot more peppy.
