Ummm should have drained the tank when near empty into a can and then change it. HHMMMMMMMM........

Default Disconnect the line from the fuel pump

Reason being: the fuel lines are soo close together that if you don't thread the fittings correctly the. You will be fighting with them for a while. That isn't the bad part.

When you have gallons of fuel running down ur arms and getting burnt from it I where the big problem is.

So now I'm stuck waiting for hours for this fuel to run out. Dame toyota for being so stupid putting these lines so close
As a quick tip, it's fairly simple to get to the fuel pump behind the rear seats and disconnect the fuel pump so the only fuel that comes out is what is in the line from the tank to the fuel filter and there won't be a syphoning effect when you disconnect the fuel line going into the fuel filter.
