1JZ SC300 problems...
I drove my buddy to the airport about 40 miles out and back with the AC on. The car drove fine with no issues, but when i got back onto base I upshifted into 4th and gave it gas and and it fell on its nose bogging. It acted like an intercooler pipe came off. So i came to a stop on the side of the road and took a look at it. All intercooler connections looked good and sealed. So i check my vaccuum lines, all those look good and sealed. So i try to crank it and it fires off, sputters and dies. When i turn my key to ON you can hear the fuel pump prime. So I sit there waiting on my friend to get there with some tools. When he got there, I went to demonstrate how the car was acting and it crunk right up. I drove it down the road with him following me and drove it back to the parking lot. There is a left hand 90 degree corner coming up so I pressd in the clutch to grab second and slow down for the corner and it died again. So i tried starting it up and it caught fire and died again and again. The car is sitting in my work parking lot now but I have no clue what it may be. Anyone have any suggestions? IAC? Wiring? Any help regarding this is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the novel thread.
No lights came on before the car died. Yes its the stock pump but i hear it prime everytime i turn it to ON. I noticed after it sits a while it will start just fine but maybe about 5-7 mins of driving it dies on me. i have bought a new fuel filter for it yesterday will replace this weekend once i get the time.

You said after it sits a while it'll start up fine and run good for about 5 min. It sounds like after it cools it runs fine till it warms up. Maybe ect sensor goin bad and affecting ur fuel ratio. Just a guess. I'm pretty sure a trouble code would have appeared and ur engine light would come on. Good luck dawg it does sound fuelish.
tried to change the fuel filter yesterday and the fittings didnt wanna loosen up. i had my 14mm wrench on there and was tugging away and the damn wrench would slip off the fittings. so i quit before i screwed up and rounded my fittings off. gotta get some line wrenches i guess. read about the fuel filter thread about it pouring gas out. def going to try and loosen the gas cap first and see if that works. my SC has 1/2 tank in it now. i cant get it to a shop since its dying out on me so i gotta do it in a parking lot at an apartment.
