Rimmmmss! Need help on sizing pleaseeee
Hey guies,
im looking at some wheels for the sc300
they are 18x8 with a 35 offset with 225/40/18 tires all arround
i know some people are gunna say go staggard and the truth
is, that i would love to but i need to be able to rotate my tires
and staggard tires would cost to much to replace every time.
so can anyone tell me how this set up would fit?
some pics would be great.
would this set up look pretty flush?
right now i still got it on a stock riding height just an f.y.i.
i am just scared that it will be tucked in too much and look like a
weird low rider or sumthin...lol
thanks for you're help peeps!
p.s. if i wanted it to be exactly flush what spacers would work?
10mm,15mm, or a 20mm?
still not too sure about spacers seems like some people hate it and
some love it.

Post pics of these wheels so we can judge you lol jk
If you aren't low, you will never be flush.
If you are low, then 35 is way too sunk-in, unless your have 19"x10.5" wheels.

On an 18x8 inch wide rim you should get an offset at or very close to +20, if you want them kicked out enough, but dont want to have to roll fenders- and are going to be on "meaty tires". This should work. Please post pics of these rims, or atleast a name...
since the offset of the rims are +35
can i run like a 20mm spacers in the front and 25mm in the back?
or like a 20mm or 25mm all arround?
basically i guess what my question too is that with the +35 offset on the rims
how big of spacers do i need to kick them out to the fenders?
and yea im trying to get them out without rollin fenders or anything.
thanks for you're help btw!!!!
im ordering the rims tonight
and will i look funny riding with those rims without the spacers for awhile? ahha
or would it basically be as tucked in as the stocks? "18x8 with 225/40/18"
pretty close they're vsr.
before anyone says anything im getting them with new tires
for $200 for all 4.
"hook up from friend"
my tires right now are bald and a new set would cost way more than
200 so im probably gunna go for it.
and how high are we talking?
i want to put either eibach or tanabe
lowering springs but then again this wouldnt be for about 2 months.
anyone got a pic of the 225/40/18 on stock ride height anyways?
not getting from any of these places but its the first pics i found of the rims...
which would look better?
these are 215/35/18 in the front and 225/40/18 in the back....18in high offffset
http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse....ShowLarge=True
or these 225/40/18 all arround with a 35 offset
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-In...Q5fAccessories
again i know its not gunna be perfect but which will give the car a better stance
and which look do you guies think is better?
