Default Coilover question

I am in the process of purchasing a suspension for my car. I want atleast 1.5 drop and was planning on purchasing Tokico Illumina shocks and springs for a Supra, I found them for $550 shipped. But everything I have been reading on here is gung hoe coilovers. My car is a daily driver and my past experience with coil's was I coundn't get a exact wheel alingment with them so my tires would wear unevenly and wear out faster. Is that still the same scenario with the Megan Racing Street LP Coilovers? And are they really worth the extra $500?
Thank You

Megan coilovers are $1050?
shocked.

I thought they were like 700

and if you drop your car 1.5 inches does it matter how you do it, either way its gonna throw off the alignment.

If you're fine with the set drop the springs give you then you can save some money and go with those.

If you want to do a "custom drop" or be able to adjust the height later, then coilovers are a good choice.

Feel free to PM us for any help or for pricing on some coilover options

Yes lowering the car will throw off the alignment, but with springs I know that I can get a wheel alignment to correct it, but can I do that w coilovers?

You do the same thing, to a point. They make a cam bolt that can fix up to 4 degrees of camber.
