im stretching 225/40 falken 912's on my fronts [18x9.5]

incase you're wondering, my rears are 18x10.5, with a bf goodrich g-force, also a 225/40 size.

for the 8.5 and want an equal stretch of the 225/40 - 18x9.5 , go with 205/40 or 205/45... if you can find them.

Pizza cutters on the front

225/40 on 9.5 Looks great.
As far as the fronts not much you can do there IMO.
All depends on what brand of tire too...some tires run wider than others so not as much Strech.
Federals Run a tad wider than normal I do know that much.I'm running a 245/40/18 on 10.5 and a 235 in the same Brand would have looked way better though looks better from behind w/ 245's.Trial and Error but 8.5 is a tad weak for a Strech.

Correct offset wheels will allow your wheels and tires to fit with the correct tire fitment to the width of your wheels. For the 8.5" that would be 235-245 and for the 9.5" that would be a 255-275

Absolutely no Strech at All though.
He wants a Strech.

275's on a 9.5 will be Gravedigger Status...shoot even 255's would look like Dragster Fitment. Offset dosen't chage the fitment of the tire.

Tucking Them will require the correct offset and Judging by those widths I would guess they are +30 or more and Will be Hovercraft Tuck (atleast on the 8.5's) - am I right?

Serious question, why? What is the intended purpose of stretching a tire like that? I'm genuinely curious.

No strech on the setup listed above ^ I promise you.
225/40 on the rears (9.5) will Look great - a really thin width (205/215) 35 series tire will be tight to the wheel on the fronts.

245 on the rears will be thick and "bubblie"
Tighter the tire, the better "tha Drift y0!"

Your car though.Do what you like.
Serious question, why? What is the intended purpose of stretching a tire like that? I'm genuinely curious.
Its normal intention is to fit a really wide LOW Offset wheel, and the tire Streched will allow it to clear the fenders which normally Need to be rolled.
Low offset + Wide wheel= Strech Tire for Fitment.
Some cars now just want the look and the offsets are only +35 and up and NO Need what-so-ever for a strech.
