So I've decided to start taking all this video of my car and putting it online. My first crack at it. Lots of people have asked how loud the car is since it's an open wastegate...well here you go. The video doesn't do it justice tho, it's as loud as a jet.

I think that they are great! I've been looking forward to seeing them for a while. She sounds awesome too (very powerful!) It feels like you're in the car. Great job editing too. I really liked both.

Nah, that was a friend of mine that didn't believe a Lexus could be fast. I bet him he couldn't hold the camera directly out the windshield the entire time....lol He lost.

Steven, I was gonna say the same to you man. But i'm sure you've been doing exactly the same as me, working hard, trying to make that cheese, so the horsepower plans can happen. Hope the job's been tolerable, gotta fly out to Chicago for awhile on business, trying to figure out where to store the Lexii (forgot to tell you Deb just took delivery of a '02 Millenium Silver over Blk RX300, slowly adding to the collection of vehicles, since she never sold her Blazer it was supposed to replace ). I'm not touching Luthor at all anymore, matter of fact i'm in the process of removing parts, gonna sell it in awhile and look for Luthor v2.0 to start, and pay for a pool for Lance's house . Got any good info to share? How's your progress on 'The Cricket' coming? Been to the track with the SC since the 12.8 run? Between you, Jeff, and Scott, no timeslips yet this season!

Wasn't that more like 25-105?

Stock gearing is around 120mph at redline in 4th.

 

I cut the very beginning, it was all wheelspin in first, you kinda hear that as it fades in, but the car is barely moving until it goes into second. I know the top I hit was 120 because on the full video a few seconds after that I hear myself talking to the codriver saying "we just hit 120." There's a ton more video, I'm just trying to cut through all the crap and get the cool sounding parts.
