show me a pic after 15K of road salt, sand, rocks, pebbles, mud, dirt, etc.

not my style but if you're happy then that's what matters.

I think splash guards would do a better job of protecting the underside from the elements. Like the poster above said...lets look again after some miles (and seasons).

The last car I had that I did this to I kept for 2 yrs and it was still looking good, I primed it before painting it to keep out rust.

The thing is when I say makes "stand out" is when your walking up to the car or it's parked and you can see threw the wheels insted of seing a "black hole" the paint looks nice and ads a bit more detail IMO , I've had ppl ask me about it usualy il hear "clean look" or " I like it " .At the end of the day it's just a touch that I like .when I had my 300ZX the car was white and it was hard to keep clean due to road contruction near my house, familly will say I don't own the fastest car in the group but il win for the cleanest.

The rear wheels don't have "splash" gaurds the front has "shrouds" I'm not a lazy person and I don't mind taking my wheels off every now and again and power wash my wheel wells. I go soo far as even to put some prime and paint under my car , Obsessed? Maybe but I hate a rusty car and it gives me a piece of mind.

No flaming here. While i didn't go quite as far with painting them I clean mine with a pressure washer every once and a while. Even if nobody else notices, I know my wheel wells are clean haha

I think black seems to be the perfect all around color of choice. It hides everything, well just about everything. Black goes with everything, when you are talking wheel wells.

No offense but you should've used that time and money and painted the calipers instead....
