How Too's, pictures, situations with conversions from auto to manual. wiring problems and solutions. all this shows is how much the parts cost.

as much as i hate to say it. i've used the Search button to get more info for transmission swapping and or conversions than just seeing how much stuff costs...

which i should say varies if u go to the dealership. since not all dealers have the exact same price for items with the same part number.

 

If you know how much stuff costs, your half way there by knowing what you have to get, if you dont know what your doing by actually reading some of this thread you really shouldnt be working on stuff yourself, like me for instance.

 

I guess, well i think the title could use a better title. Like what you need for a 5spd swap. If anything just use my thread its pretty informative till the end where i got lazy of taking pictures.

 

I have a 93 sc300. Would it matter if I got a w58 form an mkiii 88 supra? As long as I changed the bell housing, it should still work, right? Would I have to change the shifter location?

What all is needed to use a w58 from a 88 supra on my 93 sc300? I have search for days and keep coming up with lots of different statements.
