Hey guys, I'm a newbie to the whole SC thing. I picked up a 93 SC400 from a guy on the forum and I love the car. The interior wood trim was looking dated, so I had it wrapped with some 3M Carbon fiber film and felt good about it. However.......has anyone changed the ***** shift ****? It overwhelms me whenever I look at it. My buddy told me to change the interior to a 98 version. That is something I'm going to try to avoid for a little bit. Is there an easier/cheaper option? I know, I know, you get what you pay for, but is the 98 update the only way? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SC GODS I NEED YOUR ADVISE.

For the gated shifter, isn't it much more of a process than just changing the top? I was told I need to change the linkage and stuff. How's the difficulty level?
