My painter removed the rear glass (back glass) weatherstripping when he painted the car and I need options here. Factory replacement part is over $80 and after install upwards of $250. Has anyone ever used a generic weatherstripping on the back glass or am I stuck with Lexus on this one.

On another note it looks like the entire panel has to me removed to replace the moulding. Anyone done this themselves? I assume the moulding is glued in with a standard urethane glass adhesive???
