Call 911!!! She's hurt!
So today I was just cruising on home from work, just minding my own business. I reached down to switch songs on my radio and then looked back up. But SURPRISE!!! Some old lady slams on her brakes and is sticking half way out into my lane! I try to avoid her but I catch the right side of her rear bumper. My side mirror collapses in and glass flies all around my face. I slam on my brakes and just yell! Then the lady starts to drive away....so I jump out of my car and start sprinting down this main road yelling all kinds of profanities. Finnaly she pulls off to the side. Summation of the story. There was some homeless/crackhead guy in a wheelchair crossing the road (not at the crosswalk) and he didnt even pay attention to oncoming traffic. So the lady tried to not hit him and my timing was horrible with switching songs. Her bumper will have to be replaced and my car is totally F'd! I need a new front bumper, new front fender, possible new headlight, possible new door, and a new side mirror. The cop was a complete jerk to me, my deductible is $500, and Ill be missing my SC for a few weeks

/fail on both drivers. Man it sucks i've caught myself many times missing an accident within inches. You always have to watch out for the that stuff. I'm a parent and i'm always worried about kids running out into the road at anytime because their mom/dad aren't watching them. Crappy that a homeless guy did that but just think if the old lady would had killed him.

The cop was a jerk. He was referring to the old ladies as "sweet young ladies". Then he turns to me, hands me a ticket! Then states in a very a-hole tone, "what if the guy was going the other way across the street, you would've killed him" "If lawyers were to get involved you could go to jail, the stereo would be removed...ect!" He was a *****!

LOL, thanks. I did feel like running back there and beating some basic human knowledge into him. Yes he was in a wheelchair, but the old lady said when she almost hit him he just kindof looked at her like it was her fault he was crossing into oncoming traffic. WTF! At least Ill get a new front bumper out of it, which I was trying to get repainted anyways. Except it will be a $500 bumper/paint job instead of a $100 paint job.
