The people that see a lot these problems the most often, like daily, is the dealer. My dealer will troubleshoot any problem I bring him for one labor hour charge. $85 and he tells me for sure what the problem is and what to replace. Call a dealer near you and ask. I don't think my dealer here in Orygun is peculiar.

Good luck.

John

Yeah I think there are 2 diff problems. o2 sensor being one stalling being the other. Im trying to nail the o2 problem first. Seems to be temp related on cool mornings the light doesnt come on but on hot days the light is on when I start the car...

Hey Skirts hows it going? Well i still have the same issue. I actually resetted my ECU a couple weeks back and it felt as though that solved the problem. But the light came back on.

But i find your post interesting because i felt it was possible that somehow the weather could affect the performance of my 02 sensors. But at the same time, my car doesnt show any sign of lost in performance.

But when i had to change my 02 sensors the first time, there was a very noticeable sign that my car needed new sensors because it was sluggish and lost alot of gas.

Have you fixed the problem yet?

I have not fixed the problem because I dont think that it runs through gas more than normal. I am wanting to find another ecu to swap mine with and see if that solves it. Redpheonix has o2 problems as well and his is a 95 sc400 as well.

I swapped my o2 sensor from one bank to the other seeing if the code would swap as well and it did not. So im thinking its a wiring or ecu problem.

hey i was having the same problems...

I changed:
fuel pump
fuel pump ecu
coolant temp sensors
ignition coils
spark plugs/wires
got new cap /rotors
..even the damn ignition switch.

problem still occured...

finally bought a used ECU that fits the 1uz-fe

and BAM..magic! You should try that ecu for your car. more than likely it will work. i had same symptoms as you at first.
