ummm.... looks like you screwed it up when you were removing it... It did not look like that (in multiple pieces) before you removed it I guarantee it...

Nope thats how it was. When the bolts came out the just fell to to floor in pieces. There was almost 30 degrees of play in the wheel. You have to remember that this car is 17 years old with 247,000 miles and the previous owner did not take care of the car. The new Daizen busings kick ***. No more wheel play.
BTW Thanks again to Matt for all the fine work he does on these beautiful cars.
Damn thats horrible..............when I changed mine they looked perfect and had 175k and spent its entire life dealing with New England weather. When I changed to the Daizen ones there was no difference at all

Put money on it please Do you know what years of wet power steering fluid will do to rubber? How do you even screw it up taking it out anyways? It was pretty easy when the whole bushing literally fell out on me. I also remember watching the steering rack move about an inch before it would even turn the wheels. It was pretty epic!

Yea the car is a whole lot tighter thanks to the Daizen steering rack bushings, the Prothane control arm bushings, and RedPhoenix. I'm at the shop getting an alignment right now. Next step is coilovers.

Does the car ride harshly with the Prothane control arm bushings? I heard that polyurethane will squeek and provide a harsh ride compared with rubber. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
