Thats so true about the tails, I just got through painting mine. I just got so tired of the orange on top, so I paintedmine black. I didnt think that I would like it, but I really do. Glad I did!

because simplicity, and proper ride height are two of the most underrated and underachieved things in the tuner scene.

and, a gorgeous straight body with glossy paint never hurts anyones cause

How right you are. Putting set of 97+ tails would not look right on his car. It's just not the look he is going for. It's almost better for him to keep his tails just the way they are or I've told him to think about redding out the orange top part possibly since there is no orange anywhere else on the car.

The crazy part is the paint is not that glossy and the car still looks amazing.

How do we have a thread going about Matt's car and he has not stumbled on it to comment?

I just woke up, lmao.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Threads like these make me happy to be apart of the Lexus scene.

The car is at the right height with the right wheels... with a few things to push it over the top (like the Blitz Nur Spec), and subtle things.

The car needs a few little things cosmetic wise to finish it off and a good compound/polish on the paint and it will be good to go. I really wanted to do some crazy **** when I turbo it (V-mount etc), but this car doesn't need that. Its going to stay a really clean stock body.

I need to replace my front bumper (thanks to someone @ Sweetbay). I was looking at a 95-96 to get the blacked out front grill and foglights. Wise choice or stick with the 92-94? I thought it wouldnt be bad since its part of the same era. Also was up in the air about 97 sides and rear, also not sure...

Anyways, thanks guys,

I love the color of your SC bro....just keep it clean and add a few more nice mods and you will be saying the same thing
I can't wait to see how his car turns out in the end. Thanks man. It'll be looking super good by the end of the summer I hope.

I've also got black 93 tails and they look pretty clean with on the car. Red would also look good. That orange kills the taillights look.
